YOU DESERVE THE BEST IN NEW CONSTRUCTION/RENOVATION COMMUNICATIONS DESIGN

Northwest Information Services (NIS) has the expertise and qualifications to design communications systems with your department goals and objectives in mind.  Our staff has over two centuries of communication and design experience and is certified in many areas including the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Keeping up with the latest developments in technology is nearly impossible for today’s technical professional considering the day-to-day demands on their time.  Adding NIS to your team enhances your staff’s expertise by providing a knowledge base that stems from real field experience.  An Integrated Design Solution from NIS means that all your technologies are incorporated into a single design.  This minimizes the crisis management in your project and reduces change order activity, which saves you time and money…Guaranteed!

Our staff that sits on the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) standards committees, allowing us to incorporate the knowledge of the future of open industry accepted standards in our design.  An NIS Integrated Design Solution would result in three primary activities:

  • AutoCAD ® “T” Series Drawings

  • MasterFormat Technical Writing

  • Program Communications Technology Liaison

NIS is familiar with the design technologies used by architects.  Our staff understands all of the design implications associated with an integrated design solution.

NIS will work with your technology staff to integrate your requirements into the design process through AutoCAD drawings and specifications within Division 27 (the new communications division within MasterFormat Revision 4).

Our process empowers your project management team by providing a liaison resource that reports to the project team leader.  Our liaison acts as subject matter expert with the primary responsibility of integrating designs between the architect, the mechanical/electrical/plumping (MEP) relationship and your staff on communications technology.
