“Turn Key” Your Project!!!

Planning

The first step in gauging your technology project is to understand the organizational needs driving the technology. In this step, NIS will apply proven methodologies to translate your mission, goals and objectives into technology solutions. Services Include:

·         Needs Assessment for Voice, Data, Cabling, Wireless and Security

·         Business Continuation Plans

·         Disaster Recovery Planning

·         Bond or Levy Technology Planning

·         Technology Specific Assessments and Planning

·         Strategic Technology Plans

 Design

In designing your technology solution, the information gathered from the first step is formulated into a set of specifications.
These specifications can include technical documentation as well as drawings.
NIS applies an iterative process with your stakeholders that builds consensus in translating the gaps into requirements.
Once the team agrees on what is needed, NIS can determine the high level alternatives with budgetary investment to determine order of magnitude.
In this part of the design step, a technology direction will be established that narrows the choices to alternatives that achieve the greatest value.

Procurement

NIS can completely manage the procurement of your solution.
NIS formulates the specifications into a formal request for proposal (RFP) that would include a set of mandatory and desirable requirements
for the vendor community.  NIS services include:

·         Develop the RFP

·         Develop evaluation criteria

·         Send out the RFP

·         Manage vendor questions and bidding conferences

·         Analyze the responses

·         Assist in finalist selection

·         Manage the personal interview process

·         Assist in the selection of the finalist

·         Negotiation of the vendor contract.

Implementation

NIS can project manage the installation process for your technology project.
In this step, your telecommunications consultant develops a project plan that includes tasks, milestones, responsibilities and a schedule
for the completion of the project.  NIS performs coordination meetings, escalates when necessary and ensures that your project stays
on schedule and within budget.

Quality Assurance

In the final step, quality of the installation is managed by placing a telecommunications consultant resource on-site prior to and during cut-over.
NIS monitors the progress of your vendor by examining their work and enforcing the design, terms and conditions of your contract.
A “punch list” matrix is developed and tracked to identify issues and problems that empowers you for system acceptance.
